Gosh, i used to hate him cuz he just has this teeko feel!
He has this weird smile and square jaws!
Worst, it just something in me that makes me think that his boobs are squarish too!

BUT! After watching this show, i totally understand why he has all these fans across Asia and why he is so highly paid. His acting is really professional.



I think she acted as some bitch in some other drama. And since then on, i boycotted her! I avoid all dramas with her inside.
In this drama, she was, as usual, the flower vase.

And the only reason i watched IRIS was purely because i was bored!
And damn! It's a smash-hit drama arcoss Asia (Taiwan, Japan, Korea, HK,etc) for a reason!
IT IS SUPER NICE!

I have not watched a drama that could make me cry so much for quite some time already.
And i think im geting some eye infection for crying too much! (actually i think it's my contacts -.-)


Ok, so the story goes like this:

National Security System (NSS) Top 707 agents Hyun-jun and Sa-woo are blood brothers who swore to trust each other and unchanging friendship for life.

They meet agent Seung-hee there and both fall in love with her.
But Hyun-jun and Seung-hee become close and Sa-woo fights to hide his feelings for Seung-hee.

Once, in Hungary, Hyun-jun was ordered for a solo assasination mission. Despite the tight protection of bodyguards, Hyun-jun succeeds his mission.

But before escaping, Hyun-jun gets wounded by his targets’ head security bodyguards, and later he is shockingly betrayed by his most trusted friend, Sa-woo.

Hyun-jun tries to escape with Seung-hee’s help, but he ends up losing Seung-hee. And his car also explodes; they are both misled into thinking that the other had died.
Hyun-jun gets saved by an unidentifiable ‘Voice’ and learns the secret identity of a group called, ‘Iris’.

1 year later, with the two Koreas about to be reunified, Hyun-jun makes his return.

After spending a nightmarish life of being betrayed and losing everything, Hyun-jun returns to get revenge on those who threw him into the living hell.

With the help of the President, Hyun-jun returns to his post in the NSS. Starting a fight against ‘Iris’, the secret society that tries to interfere with reunification, Hyun-jun now puts everything on the line for the battle of his life.

No dying next to the beach.
No long-lost siblings.
No bitchy mother-in-laws. (oops, that's hk drama)
No "i-love-u, but-cannot-tell-u" kind of nonsense. (Actually got abit la! Hahahaha)

LBH started off as an orphan in the show who had no one to trust or rely on. And this means his life was worthless to the Korean Security. So it is really touching to see his determination to fight for survival..

It's damn sad!
I swear he has got this jiao bin that makes me pity him!
And his acting is really superb. You can feel his emotions through the TV screen!

It's really a Must-Watch for the year!

Full of History about nuclear technologies, political wars between the two Koreas and pastly history related to communism in USSR. (Better read up before watching. Or else u'll just drift away and miss the interesting parts)
